Very good service and always receive policy via EMAIL Prior to renewing it. Magnet are always easy to contact to renew policy and are always polite and easy to setup in relation to my payments to suit my needs. Highly recommended for model railway collections at a reasonable price.

Our club has been with this company for a while now and we have only ever had excellent communications with them. Only last week I asked for an amendment to our policy via email late on a Friday night and had a reply to say it was done on the Saturday morning!
I know of another club who recently had to make a claim following a theft and they said Magnet Insurance Service were very helpful and dealt with it promptly with no issues.
That's all you can ask of an Insurance company!

Easy enough process, but prohibitively expensive.
Easy enough process, but prohibitively expensive. £78 for a small 5ft x 3ft layout for 1 day is extortionate. I pay less than 1/8 of that for an entire years cover for stationary engines with £10M public liability.

I have been using Magnet for some years now and never had any problems with my model railway insurance. Normal household insurance is insufficient, so the additional insurance is necessary and reasonably priced.
