I was impressed by the fact my insurance premium was less than the previous year, not only that, they do not have introductory discounts giving false prices!

Value wise - very competitive. Been guilty of autorenewing for a long time with previous company, so having done a price comparison this year, the price from Magnet, with additional extras is still far cheaper than my renewal quote.
Admittedly, I've not had to claim yet, and you know what they say - you can only really rate the insurance company you take on by the quality of their claims service, but first impressions are favourable.

I haven't had to make a claim to date - so I can only give my opinion based on sales - I recently renewed after checking reviews on site - the lady dealt efficiently and politely with every question and request for change. there were cheaper quotes but the companies had poor reviews - so thank you to everyone who takes the time to leave a review - they are read and do make a diference.

Straightforward renewal
It was a refreshing change to have a renewal quote priced slightly lower than my premium last year.
I checked with one of the insurance comparison websites and their best premium was almost identical to my renewal. I hope there is not some sort of behind-the-scenes price fixing going on but in any case I decided to stick with Magnet. Time will tell whether that was a good decision.
The cover seems good and but I still have a slight worry that I should have researched more alternatives.
