Building & contents insurance
The price of the policy was good at £186 which is due 8th December 2020 but I thought I would sort it a month early so I got it at that price. The thing I have the issue with is that they took payment on the same day I set it up & personally think it should have been taken the day the policy starts. This could really be a problem for families who live month to month with money. Think it should be reviewed.

Good service, excellent premium
Setting up the policy renewal was straightforward and receipt of policy documents was easy with no complications. The premium was excellent - better than last year (which was also good).
It is difficult to assess whether this is a good insurance: this is only discovered when a claim has to be made. So far I haven't had to make a claim so that aspect of the company has not been tested by me. So until they demonstrate otherwise I value the policy/company as 5 star.

Changing to Magnet
I did a house insurance check on a comparison site and opted for Magnet as they did all I wanted at a very good price, I saved the quote with ref number. A couple of days later I told my insurance company I would not be renewing and phoned Magnet, in a couple of minutes I was talking to an advisor who quickly retrieved my quote, two minutes later after being told all the legal bits I was signed up. Absolutely no problems and very efficient. Great service.

Easy to use, did it through a comparison website but then talked through with a Magnet employee the details which were important as I am shortly moving house.
