I was unhappy with the original proposal for renewal of my policy and had planned to change to another provider. I contacted Magnet and the agent quickly identified a problem with the renewal proposal. He rectified the issue and provided another proposal which met my needs. As a result I renewed my insurance with Magnet

Great customer service and good value for money
Friendly and efficient customer service - they rang back at exactly the time I'd asked, were very helpful in talking me through various options, so that I could arrive at what worked best for me. Prizes are very competitive - not the cheapest on the market, but substantially lower than my renewal quotation with another provider, and the level of customer service combined with the pricing policy convinced me that this was right for me.

Excellent cover at a reasonable cost
The cover provided was in excess of many comparable companies and the response time was truly amazing. I had full documentation delivered by email within the hour of placing the order. I don't know how they will respond in the event of a claim but that bodes well in the light of the initial service. In this day and age it is reassuring that there is a real telephone number with a real email address to be able to contact them on.

Great experience so far
Of course, the main test of how good an insurance company is comes when one has to make a claim. Since I've only just taken out a policy with this company and haven't had any other dealings with them I can't comment about how they are in a crisis. However, in terms of the process of taking out a policy they have been great, mainly due to my being able to have ongoing personal communication with a named individual and how they dealt with my unusual house insurance needs. They did a great job in finding the right policy for me at a good price.
