Really impressed with the price and the service from Magnet. It was the only insurer who's renewal price was lower (most companies charge more at renewal so a welcome change!). No issues with getting through to a call handler and all calls have been pleasant and easy.

Excellent service and competitive quote
We had problems getting competitive quotes for a house which had previously (20+ years ago) had issues with subsidence, with many companies refusing to even quote. We found Magnet really helpful, quick to respond to emails, quick to get a real person on the phone, and their price was surprisingly competitive, although the excess amount is higher than previously.

I have just taken out insurance following various comparison sites which all put Magnet at, or near, the top for results. Thought I would give them a try as they are covered by FSCA and so far it was an easy process, including adding on an optional extra afterwards. I won't know for sure until I have reason to claim, but no reason o complain now and telephone assistant was efficient and helpful.

I needed building insurance for a house we bought. We are first time buyers and we had no idea what we needed. The service we received was great! On a few occasions the person who helped wasn’t sure and he just said so and that he checked with a colleague. We found that very reassuring we felt that they wouldn’t just blag it!
