Not made aware of 14 day 'cooling off period' from Magnet Insurance Home Emergency Supplier
At that time, I decided to also opt into the Home Emergency add on as well as the Legal Advice Insurances.
Whilst Magnet told me that I had a 14 day 'Cooling Off' period they did not tell me that it was the same the other way round for the 'Home Emergency' cover. As I unfortunately found out only three days later (13th April) when our home boiler malfunctioned and left us without heating (hot water was ok through the back up immersion heater) until yesterday (18th April). Not only that, the Home Emergency company did not have our information details on file at that time when I called them on the 13th!
'They' say that it is important to have Insurance cover as an accident/incident could happen at any time which includes the minute straight after the cover is taken out right up until the last minute...fact!

Dear Tony, Thank you for your kind consideration towards my query and observations re the 'Home Emergency'. I like and admire the way you have handled this which is very much similar to how we run our business. I am still awaiting my plumbers invoice and have chased up this morning?
