I've insured my model railway with Magnet for a number of years now, and although (fortunately) i've not had to claim so far, having the insurance is reassuring, especially knowing that it is specific to my model railway. I have always found the staff friendly and helpful when talking to them, pricing seems reasonable and is directly proportional to to value of the collection being insured, which seems fair. The real test of the insurance comes when making a claim, but so far my experience with Magnet has been a good one.

I phoned Magnet Insurance Services up and obtaining a quote was very easy to do.
The person I spoke to answered all my questions and other questions I hadn't asked as well.
I received the documents by e-mail within a short time after putting the phone down.
I have no hesitation in recommending Magnet Insurance Services in regard to Collectables Insurance.

Collection Insurance
Magnet Insurance Service took over my policy when my previous insurer, who I had used for many years, was taken over. I found Magnet to be very professional and this meant an almost seamless transfer for me (it would have been 100% seamless if only my previous insurer had passed on my date of birth to Magnet!) but a short phone call to their Customer Services quickly resolved this issue and they were both friendly and efficient.
My renewal premium only went up by inflation which pleased me and I believe their service is good value for money.
