I contacted our broker within Macbeth's while on vacation concerning cover relating to baggage lost by the airline. Advice relating to coverage and how to claim was brilliant providing much relief to an otherwise stressful event.

Just wanted to say a great thank you to Valda for handling our claim for damages. She was amazing and very professional in her mannerism, approach and efforts to help us with this claim. This was very assuring for us as we had never made a claim for the property and we were not even made aware by the housing association about this sort of thing. Great assistance was provided in liaising with insurers in connection with a successful claim for cancellation of travel and holiday due to temporary ill health. This included early advice and guidance and subsequent communications with insurers. Our claim went from one of little hope to a very successful outcome. Although insurers naturally considered the matter carefully and required evidence of various matters, we are sure that Macbeth's (Julie) good relationship with them helped including by providing some assurance along the way.

Our broker was great. We had a second episode of roof damage where on this occasion the damage was the result of a freak event in the village which tore down a number of trees. The insurers, relying on generic area forecasts, refused to accept the claim but our broker advised us well, made sure that we provided the exact information required and the claim succeeded. As a charity we need to use every penny wisely, and this really helps us. Someone who acts with patience and good support in helping us do our job is invaluable.
