Claim dealt with in double quick time

I, unfortunately, needed to make a claim for water damage. I submitted my claim to Macbeth, via Julie Burton, and this whole process was dealt with very quickly and efficiently. I cannot recommend Macbeth high enough.

Claim handling

Macbeth our insurance brokers, did step in to the equation when settlement was being agreed. The loss adjuster insurer and ourselves were helped by their involvement.

No fuss claim

I guess I should expect service like this but these days it's rare. Very helpful and swift responses from real people. No convoluted web processes. Just quick and simple communication from the team. I wish all services were run like this.

Is there anything your insurers (underwriters) could have done to improve the claims process? Not really. I was hovering over chasing the claim as the team's response came in. But that's only as I was desperate to replace my phone and I dare say any wait was both standard and down to the insurer.

I love that I could just phone up and subsequently email. If you're thinking of implementing some kind of ticketing system / CRM / automation ... think carefully. This is great service as it should be.

Valda from Macbeth managed my claim from beginning to successful end professionally and highly effectively. She was friendly and reassuring, whilst ensuring she had the full facts and background to convey to the insurers. She's a terrific face (or in my case, voice) for your company and great added value for my annual premium. I've never claimed before and she explained it all to me, chased and managed my claim and, after a few complications (not down to Valda), achieved success. I can't praise her highly enough.

It was difficult to find a supplier that was willing to confirm the item we were clainming for was not fit for repair and could no longer be used. It would have been quicker to simply send the item to the insurance company but understand that is not always possible.

Short, painless, strong service

We claimed against a piece of stolen property. The team were helpful, prompt, and the claim was settled and paid same week. The things you worry about with making an insurance claim weren't a factor - would recommend.

Straight forward claims process

Reported our claim as soon as the accident occurred. A claims advisor was appointed straight away. Details required were e mailed and a claim submitted quickly on our behalf. Documents and estimates were submitted as soon as we could and an agreeable offer received within days.
Once accepted settlement was received in a few days. Good contact from our claims advisor throughout.
