Investigating the possibility of a loss of income claim
As has happened to many organisations our community facility saw 90% of its income streams disappear with the Covid lockdown. We had detailed discussions with Macbeth people about whether a claim was possible within the wording of the policy we have, and they offered impartial and fair advice with great speed and efficiency. They also offered a realistic, and in our view, probably correct assessment of the chances of success, so we feel that we have been well advised and have realistic expectations.

Do we, in insurance, have a phase similar to "tax doesn't have to be taxing"?! Either way It's safe to say that administering insurance isn't the sexiest of subjects, but the gratification for us, and the client, comes when a claim is successful and the individual or business can pick up where they left off. We relish replacing risk with reassurance.
