Been going to my local mind for some years now at Marcella House. Always been somewhere to go to and get advice when I'm feeling low or unable to cope. The staff and fellow service users make me feel better when I am there and although I feel bad when I have to leave and face the real world I know they'll be there next time. I have been out of hospital for 7 years now and I don't think I could say that if it wasn't for them. I have spent the last 2 years working 1 day a week and feel ready to take on more challenges now thanks to positive people giving me encouragement. Thanks.

I have now been with Solent Mind for around 6 weeks, at Marcella House
This has had a big impact on my mind journey, and the team have been nothing short of a revelation. Lesley, Liz, Lorraine deserve medals for how welcoming they are, and they have made me feel that there is hope.

I am volunteering at Solent Mind currently and the people there are very nice and they have a clear connection and passion in the field of supporting people with mental health issues. They have even inspired me to work towards a job in a mental health charity in the future as I hope to make a difference just like they are.
