I personally have been with Unihousing for around 2 years now, and they're service always seems to be quick. Even at times where i never thought that they could ^
Plus it helps that the main office is easy to get to.
Staff are great, always friendly, always there to help.
Would deffo recommend.

Unihousing has the best team of professionals! Their customer service is spot on. I had reserved a studio with their help and paid a deposit. I later had to change my mind because upon careful thought, the property was not exactly what I had budgeted for. They were so understanding and later refunded my deposit. They are amazing!

The level of professionalism that unihousing display continuously is truly amazing. They have an extremely kind and willing team and I love this about them. As a tenant of Unihousing for two years I can say that on the whole, they are generally a safe bet for student property letting. The staff in the office are particularly helpful and give good notice for viewings.
My criticism would be with regards to maintenance - it was never that timely when it came to replacing faulty white goods, and inconsistent at other times. It was necessary to repeatedly email to get things done.
It also took a while for our deposits to be returned at the end of tenancy, and there was little transparency between the Unihousing store-front and back-end business run by Gregory Fickert.
Bear in mind that as all property is owned by this guy, it's better to consider Unihousing as an office of the landlord rather than a letting agent. This has its pros and cons - the main con being you/the property do not get the same attention from the landlord in comparison to the traditional letting agent/landlord setup.

I’m really pleased you think of us as a safe bet and found our office staff to be friendly and helpful. I’m sorry our maintenance team didn’t leave you feeling delighted with our repair service. We aim to get all white good replaced as soon as they arrive from our suppliers. I’m also sorry if there was a banking delay with the deposit return. Most of our tenants report they receive their deposits back within 3 working days of the return being agreed.

Friendly, helpful and stress-free!
As a student looking for a room on my own I was initially nervous about viewing and sorting my accommodation alone. However, Unihousing made it so easy and stress-free. They listened to what it was I was looking for and were determined to find me something that met my needs without pushing me towards something I didn't want. All the staff seem really friendly and made the process of viewing properties feel very easy, they didn't rush me between properties and they allowed me to take my time to consider each option individually. Additionally, they provided the advantages and drawbacks of each room and judged each from a neutral standpoint without trying to influence my opinion. Overall, having had experiences with other letting agents, I enjoyed my experience with Unihousing much more in terms of the process of viewing and sorting out the paperwork because of the lack of stress and pressure. I would highly recommend Unihousing to students looking for accommodation alone and I hope you have an equally stress-free experience!

I would highly recommend Unihousing, they are friendly and always helpful. They fix the smallest of problems immediately, and are extremely accommodating to your needs. Compared to most other student agents in Selly Oak they have a good rent cost, and of my four years living in Selly Oak they definitely provided better service than the others.

Absolutely fantastic! I have lived in Birmingham for four years as a student and, having lived in UoB accomodation on my first year, I can tell you that the properties, maintenance and attention to tenants Unihousing offers is as good or even better than what UoB can offer. Compared to other letting agencies around the area, Unihousing is by far the best one. They don't deduct money from your deposit unreasonably, they fix maintenance issues the same day you report them; most importantly, they take you seriously and treat you like a person, unlike some "professional" letting agencies that treated me poorly because I'm an international student. A special mention to Kelly Smith, who dealt with all my emails, phone calls and maintenance issues during my tenancy. Thank you all so much for making accomodation so easy and pleasant on my final year at UoB!
