Went great after...
I'm living in one of the rooms from unihousing and there were a couple of problems. The major one was the heating. The rest of the issues were dealt with very promptly however the heating issue was not for 1-2weeks. Finally, I found out that the issue isn't in the room but an overall issue with the building and they gave me a temporary heater.

I spent > 4 years in one of Unihousing's ensuite rooms in Dawlish road during my study. The best accommodations near UoB, supermarkets, cafe' and restaurants. Had a good maintenance, fast response and friendly staffs. Thanks to Kelly and team, managing my rent contract over the 4 years.

Students have dignity too
Unihousing has plenty of issues, and up to now I’ve been feeling like all of them revolve around treating students poorly. Even if we’re the main customers, we get ignorance instead of housing support. Information is avoided by agency staff most of the time as well. Everything is about profit, not “uni housing”.
Even if I may have this opinion, all agencies in town act like this more or less, so you just have to roll with your favourite mess, to be honest.

Oh No! This is the absolute opposite of how we want our students to feel. I’m appalled and devastated to read about your experience. You contacted us for help with University housing and were left feeling like you have been treated as a second class citizen. You must feel so frustrated by your experience. I need to find out who you spoke to and make sure they understand this is totally unacceptable! Please can you contact me so I can make sure whoever made you feel this way will always treat people with dignity and respect. I want to do all I can to help with the housing support you need, and transform your opinion of our service.

Highly recommend, as the best student accommodation in Birmingham
I lived with Unihousing during my PhD programme. They were really helpful and understood all the conditions that university students may go through, whether local or international students. The housing that they provide is complete with all the student's requirements in terms of spaciousness and location with all equipment and services, and they also have options to share housing or self-catering.
I enjoyed staying with them and I have a good experience and impression of them.

Been a commercial tenant for a few years now, Iky has been brilliant - very approachable, professional and available at short notice should we have any queries. Our opening hours are from 4pm daily and Iky & the team are understanding when it comes to any visits/contact to be made which is helpful. Thanks Manny 😀

Uni housing have supported my journey completely as a first year student the transition from home to living alone is massive and a big change, they have supported and helped me with everything ,they're very professional and informative I have made the best decision by choosing to live with uni housing ,any problems they get back to you instantly ,all of the workers are lovely and informative and Icky has been amazing with any maintenance issues and anything I have needed, any questions I've had was dealt with instantly its honestly the best decision Ive made choosing to live with these I would highly recommend them ,coming from a family at home to living alone is a big change but everyone at uni housing made me feel so welcome and the area and studio rooms are so clean and safe if anyones looking to live out for uni I would most definitely recommend uni housing.
