Clean and Tidy, Staff very Polite

The team were brilliant! They were excellent at keeping us updated and informed with any worries or questions we had. After surgery they stayed late with our pup until she had woken up and was ready to come home. Regularly checking in with us after treatment to advise with aftercare but also because they all cared about how we were and want to know that pup was doing well. We are very grateful for the staff and what they have done for us!

Last year my cocker spaniel damaged his lower canine and my vet referred him to Bob at the vet dentist. I couldn't have been more impressed with the professionalism and kindness. Bob and Jen both went above and beyond to ensure that my Twig was comfortable and well taken care of throughout the entire treatment. Bob and Jen were extremely knowledgeable and explained everything in detail, which helped put my mind at ease. I highly recommend them to anyone in need of a veterinary dentist. Thank you, Bob and Jen, for your exceptional care!

If I could give more stars, I would. We can’t thank Bob and his team of nurses enough! We were really apprehensive with the anaesthetic as our Labrador, Minstrel, is nearly 15. But they were all absolutely superb and just a few hours after coming round, she’s walking around and has gotten her appetite back as if nothing had happened! We’re so grateful to the team as they all worked late and took the absolute best care of her. Thank you all again, so much. We really do appreciate it. 😊

Grateful thanks to Bob, and the whole hardworking and dedicated team. Our young Labrador Toby had a broken jaw, and I had three trips in all to the practice with him. Every time, Bob and his team provided absolutely superb care for Toby. Toby clearly loved everyone there, despite having three general anaesthetics, considerable pain, and a lot of work done to a sensitive area. The work was carried out very professionally, to an extremely high standard, and I was kept fully informed throughout . Toby’s jaw has mended, he has kept his handsome profile and, most important of all, he hasn’t been traumatised by the experience. I don’t think you can get better care than this!

A great team of professionals. From the receptionists to the vet Mr. Partridge who performed my cat’s complex dental procedure with the highest possible success. The surgery went fabulously and saved her canines, which might not have happened at other vets, she was very groggy for a few days obviously due to the anaesthetic and the pain killers but recovered just fine. Dr Bob was very careful with her medication because although she’s healthy, she is a very sensitive cat and doesn’t tolerate normal doses, so he gave her the minimum possible to get her through the pain, which I couldn’t be more thankful for. I would’ve improved the customer care as we felt like they could have been more attentive and more informative especially towards her aftercare. It felt very rushed even though you’re paying roughly £2000, you’d think that they’d take less customers in and dedicate more time to each pet.
They also made us wait for one hour after surgery without even telling us how was she.
We’d have appreciated getting some feedback on how is she doing during such long wait after the operation

It also felt very unnecessary to scheduling us at 10 am when she’s not going into surgery until 16 or so. Careless towards her as well, being all frightened for so long when it’s not necessary.
Also some advice on post surgery side effects such as constipation and what to do about it would’ve been great, but thankfully her usual vets advised to give her 1/4 of a weetabix mixed in her food.
Although I wasn’t happy at all with all of this I think that I gave my cat the best possible treatment here in the U.K.

We were concerned when our dog developed a hard bony swelling on his right cheek. After an examination under anaesthetic by our local vet, the origin was still not clear and our vet could not find a clear dental cause, raising concerns that he may have an underlying tumour and he was referred to Vet Dentist for further investigation. My day-job as an NHS consultant has quite a lot of overlap with Mr. Partridge’s practice (but for humans rather than animals) so I knew that he would need a CT scan and potentially a biopsy of his lump. It was reassuring that Mr. Partridge had the same plan in mind but still felt that a tooth problem was most likely. I was shown the facilities at Vet Dentist and amazed by how well equipped the practice is, at a level exceeding most NHS hospitals (and probably several private ones). The cone beam CT scans which our dog had were the highest quality I have ever seen. They clearly demonstrated a dental cause for the swelling and treatment involved two extractions and three canine root canal treatments. The clinical record keeping, CT scans, X-rays and report from Mr. Partridge were exceptional. I have been able to discuss these with dental colleagues and NHS consultant dentists and without exception all have been astonished by the standard of care which Mr. Partridge provided to a dog, which clearly exceeds that which most human patients receive in this country for similar conditions.
In addition to clinical excellence the whole team appear to be very dedicated to caring for the animals during their visit - the nurses were friendly and welcoming and the administrative staff helpful and efficient.
We are very fortunate to have such a skilled and professional team in this part of the country and I can’t recommend Mr. Partridge and his team highly enough. It’s reassuring to know that our four -legged family members are in such good hands when they need this very specialised care.

I can not thank Bob, all the nurses, staff and jenny for everything they've all done. My 7 month old had to have a tumor removed. Jenny was absolutely lovely on the phone and in person and super helpful. Bob is just amazing at the work he does and how sympathetic he is and sensitive about the whole situation (especially when I kept crying) and Bob made sure he told me about all the amazing care the nurses do to help. Although i didn't really see the nurses just when they brought Roxy back through I could see the care and love from them and been told about all the cuddles theyve had. Thankyou each and everyone of you for all the love, care and help you've given to Roxy. I will be forever grateful.

An incredible practice, filled with all the instruments and machines you could dream of, a dream team of truly caring professionals led by one of the most talented vets I have ever met.

Our 7 month old kitten was referred to Bob's practice after we noticed her change in behaviour and discovered overgowing canines cutting into her lower jaw. After a detailed consultation, Daisy's surgery involved a canine extraction. Her recovery has been really fast with her being lively hours after surgery and noticeably a happier cat, and even more affectionate which has been quite a revelation. I'm really happy that I chose Vet Dentist, and the 1 hour drive to Harrogate was a good decision.
Bob explained the whole procedure pre and post operation and had detailed slides of the extraction, sutures, remedial gum damage and work to the gum line. I would highly recommend Bob for dental surgery. The front of house staff are friendly and efficient.
Five months on from surgery, she has fully recovered, and chews bones on the side of the extraction surgery completely oblivious that a tooth has been removed. The shaving back of the gum has also removed any abrasion from the other canine and she now has healthy gums and eating habits. A 100% recovery.

I cannot recommend Bob Partridge’s canine dentistry course enough. His advice and teaching was a game changer for me. For the first time in my career, I can say that I’m actually looking forward to getting stuck into the dentals I have next week!
I learnt loads and really enjoyed Bob’s teaching style. Perfect balance of lectures and practical workshops.

We visited yesterday with our Weimaraner Gunner who needed a lot of work on his front canines. He was with the vet dentist team all day and they took really good care of him. Just want to say a huge thank you to Bob for the work he did on Gunner's teeth and also a BIG thank you to the nurses who stayed late so this work could be done I appreciate it, thank you for looking after him.
